Aimée spent the next ten years teaching children from 2.5 years to adults in all genres of dance. Feetbeats 

Dance Academy achieved a 100% examination pass rate associated with the N.A.T.D (National Association 

of Teachers of Dancing) and the children won many awards at local dance competitions. This included 

getting in to the finals at the N.A.T.D Scholarship Finals in Birmingham. They also danced at many local 

events over the years, appearing for example at Toyota and even at Epsom TK Maxx.  Some also auditioned 

and were successful in local pantomimes at the Dorking Halls.  Just recently a student performed in 

‘Standing At The Sky’s Edge’ at the National Theatre and in ‘Macbeth’ at The Globe in London. 

Feetbeats Dance Academy also had some amazing end of year shows held at the Adrian Mann Theatre and 

the Harlequin Theatre, Redhill.  

After the pandemic Aimée decided to take her teaching in another direction. This is when ‘BLOOM Dance’ 

was founded.  

Aimée always loved teaching adults and so was happy to add ballet, seated tap and an assisted ballet class 

to her list of adult classes. She also continues to offer private lessons to children to who wish to enter 

competitions and also teaches children with Special Educational Needs.  

Over the lockdown period, Aimée qualified in PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) and hopes to re-start 

these classes in the new future. 

Continual professional development is a priority for Aimée, who regularly attends meetings and courses at 

the N.A.T.D.

Alongside all of these wonderful things Aimée has also been involved in choreographing and performing in 

many local amateur theatre shows.  

She is excited to see where the next ten years of BLOOM Dance will take her and all of her fabulous
